SUMMARY:Evening with . . . Concert Series
DESCRIPTION:City Repertory Theatre’s “Evening With . . .” concert series returns Feb. 7 at 7:30 pm with a celebration of Black Art featuring four of our incredibly talented black performers.  The group includes Brent Jordan\, who just completed a star turn in Every Brilliant Thing at CRT and a stint as Snoopy in the national tour of Charlie Brown Christmas Live!; Phillipa Rose\, a part of the CRT family for more than a decade\, who most recently appeared as Mary Magdalene in Jesus Christ\, Superstar and opens in The Niceties on Feb. 20; and Kelvin Niebla\, who played Jafar in CRT’s production of Twisted as well as Roland in Constellations.  The group is led by Laniece Fagundes who opened our “Evening With . . .” series last fall with a concert of her original music.  She frequently performs at CRT\, most recently as Judas in Jesus Christ\, Superstar. \nJoin us for this celebration of Black History through performance art!
