DESCRIPTION:Join us on Friday October 11\, 2024\, at 4:00 pm to celebrate and dedicate the historic wharf at Long’s Landing. This wharf was part of the 1800’s plantation\, St. Joseph’s owned by General Joseph Hernandez. He was a sugar planter\, the state’s first delegate to Congress\, appointed by a legislative council in 1823\, and the first Hispanic to serve in Congress from Florida.
