Coquina Rising: New Works from Florida’s Shoreline is the first solo exhibition by Palm Coast-based artist Julia Walthall, founder of Driftwood and Decor. The exhibition features new abstract works created with coquina shells, driftwood, recycled tumbled glass, and other materials connected to Florida’s Atlantic shoreline.

Rooted in coastal color, texture, memory, and place, Coquina Rising expands Walthall’s work beyond representational marine designs into larger, more expressive compositions. The exhibition highlights the beauty of humble shoreline materials and invites viewers to look more closely at the small natural fragments that shape Florida’s coastal landscape.
