Granting Program

WELCOME TO THE FLAGLER COUNTY CULTURAL COUNCIL GRANTING PROGRAM

The Flagler County Cultural Council (FC3) manages grants for the City of Palm Coast and the Flagler County Tourism Development Office.  Please read the information below to learn more about potential grants for your organization.

Grant window for FY2026-2027 applications opens June 1, 2026, and closes on August 21, 2026

As part of an official agreement with the City of Palm Coast, FC3 manages the Palm Coast Cultural Arts Grant program. The partnership represents a significant opportunity to expand and enhance arts, culture, and history in our community.

This grant program funds applications that best serve the interests of the City of Palm Coast and its residents, and support a vibrant cultural atmosphere that is attractive to visitors. This grant is designed to help support local activities, not to replace other funding or completely underwrite events.

    • All grants require a 1:1 match. Total grant amounts are based on a percentage of the project budget and available grant funds.

    • All grant applicants must send a representative to a mandatory grant workshop prior to submitting their grant application. (Currently scheduled for the week of July 20, 2026)

  • After a grant panel review, a slate of recommended grants will be referred to the City of Palm Coast. Final award decisions are made by the Palm Coast City Council.

Grant window for FY2025-2026 applications opens March 9, 2026

This grant program provides financial support for small-scale projects and programming that enhance the visitor experience, improve tourism assets, and strengthen Flagler County’s position as a premier destination. The program focuses on new programs or the expansion of existing projects and programming that increase tourism in Flagler County. While residents may benefit from the project, the main purpose must be to attract tourists. The DDG aligns with the Tourism Development Council Strategic Plan objective to Strengthen the County’s Arts & Culture Offerings and supports the Flagler County Strategic Plan goal of diversifying and enhancing the tax base to improve the local economy. The number and extent of these grants will depend upon the availability of designated funds and specific allocations.

Eligibility requirements:

  • Nonprofit organizations based in Flagler County with at least one year of established programming.
  • Projects must focus on tourism and demonstrate the ability to attract visitors.
  • Funding requests may range from $2,500 to $10,000 and require a 1:1 cash match.
  • Funding is awarded on a reimbursement basis upon project completion. Applicants must demonstrate the ability to cover project costs up front.

After a grant panel review, a slate of recommended grants will be referred to the Flagler County Board of County Commissioners. Final award decisions are made by the Flagler County Board of County Commissioners.
