Join us February 20 through March 1 for The Colored Museum, a biting and hilarious show that has electrified, discomforted, and delighted audiences of all colors, redefining our ideas of what it means to be Black in contemporary America since its premiere in 1986. Presented as a series of interconnected “exhibits” or skits, the play by six-time Tony Award winner George C. Wolfe is a theatrical powerhouse, inviting audiences into a satirical museum where the exhibits aren’t just relics of the past but living, breathing commentaries on Black identity, assimilation, and stereotypes.
